3Office to the road

Mercer+Mettle Soft Spacer 1/4-Zip

Style MM3100

This is my pick for a more polished look. I'd show this to a sales team that moves between the office and the road.

Davis Slagle

A polished layering piece for the office or off the clock. Spacer yarn gives it a soft hand, soft structure and light insulation, and it fights odor and UV rays.

  • 8.9-ounce, 75/18/7 recycled polyester/rayon/spandex peached spacer knit
  • Odor-fighting
  • UPF rating of 50+
  • Dyed-to-match 2x1 rib knit collar lining

If your company gear only gets worn when somebody has to wear it, I'd rethink the gear. Here are five athleisure pieces I'd look at for your next company store.

First, the Nike Dri-FIT Primary Hoodie. This is where I'd start for a team that wants to be a recognizable brand and a sportier look. Think travel days, warm-ups and everyday wear.

Second, the Sport-Tek Repeat shorts. 7-inch inseam, stretch, moisture-wicking fabric. I'd pair these with a hoodie for a company wellness program or a travel team collection.

Third is the Mercer+Mettle Soft Spacer 1/4-Zip. This is my pick for a more polished look. I'd show this to a sales team that moves between the office and the road.

Fourth is the TravisMathew Women's Coveside 1/2-Zip. Plush fabric, four-way stretch, and a women's silhouette. I'd put this on the shortlist for a premium employee gift.

And fifth, the OGIO Women's Connection Jogger. Stretch, an adjustable waist and zippered pockets. I'd use this to round out a collection people can wear beyond the office.
